BANGKOK ELEPHANT PARK

Slogan It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted

Mission & Vision

Bangkok Elephant Park was born from the founder’s love and concern for Thai elephants.
Through direct experiences of witnessing elephants suffering from forced hard labor, performing
in inappropriate conditions, and being confined in limited zoo spaces, the founder decided to
dedicate themselves to helping these elephants.

With a large inherited plot of fertile land with a good environment for elephants on the outskirts
of Bangkok, the owner initiated the “Bangkok Elephant Park” project. The vision was to
create a safe and natural home for rescued elephants while providing opportunities for people to
learn about and experience these intelligent and gentle animals.

Bangkok Elephant Park is not only a sanctuary for elephants but also a vibrant learning center.
Here, visitors can learn about the long history of the relationship between Thai people and
elephants, the importance of elephants to the ecosystem, and the challenges elephants face in
today’s world.

With meticulously designed activities such as walking with elephants to observe their natural
behavior and lifestyle up close, learning proper elephant care methods, and participating in
preparing special food for elephants, visitors can experience the gentleness and intelligence of
elephants up close, without any form of forcing or abusing the elephants.

Moreover, Bangkok Elephant Park collaborates with leading animal conservation
organizations and educational institutions to conduct research and develop sustainable
conservation approaches for Thai elephants, including rehabilitating areas that are natural
habitats for elephants.

With a commitment to creating positive change, Bangkok Elephant Park is not just a tourist
attraction but also a source of inspiration for people to realize the importance of elephant and
nature conservation. The founder and team hope that everyone who visits will have a memorable
experience and leave with a greater love and understanding of Thai elephants, to collectively
create a brighter future for Thai elephants and our ecosystem.

Boonbaramee

My name is Boonbaramee.

I am a 5-year-old male elephant.

My caretaker’s name is Daeng. I am the most playful among the four elephants. I love spending time with visitors. When I see a bottle of Vitamilk (soy milk), I lick my lips and beg for it  it’s my favorite! I also like eating bananas and other fruits. I am a talented performer.

I can dance, lift my legs, and even play with a hula hoop!

I am the most mischievous but also the most adorable elephant in my family.

My relaxed personality and loving behavior bring joy to everyone around me.

Mongkon

I am a 6-year-old male elephant with one little tusk.

Like most elephants, I enjoy bananas, grass, and various fruits. But what really makes me special is my gentle, calm, and friendly nature. I am a peaceful elephant who prefers quiet over noise. My relaxed personality and warm nature allow me to connect with all kinds of people. Whether I am taking a leisurely walk or playing, I always have a sense of calm that soothes those around me.

My lovely character and peaceful aura make me a delightful companion to both humans and other elephants.

Sapmanee

My name is Sapmanee.

I am a 5-year-old male elephant.

My caretaker’s name is Top. Out of the four baby elephants, I am the only one with a reddish face and two small little tusks. I have a calm, gentle, and friendly personality. I make an endearing loud trumpet sound. Like other elephants, I love Vitamilk (soy milk) and various foods. But what makes me special is that I am very good at kicking balls.

While my friends may be more energetic, I prefer to be peaceful, but I still charm everyone with my delightful behavior.
